The Visit of Artur Sakunts and Armine Sadikyan to Istanbul

Artur Sakunts and Armine Sadikyan will travel from Vanadzor (Armenia) to Istanbul on April 23. As part of the three-day visit, they will conduct a research on human rights in Turkey’s armed forces, as well as provide an analysis of possibilities of cooperation with organizations engaged in similar activities and the reduction of militarization level in the two countries.

Artur Sakunts and Armineh Sadikyan are the grantees of the 4th round of Hrant Dink Foundation’s Armenia-Turkey Travel Grant. 



The Hrant Dink Foundation established the Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant in March 2014 and will issue open calls up to May 2015. The Travel Grant will finance the travels of around 200 individuals, giving them an opportunity to travel to the neighboring country for the implementation of their targeted projects. 


The Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant is administered with the financial assistance of the European Union within the framework of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process Programme.
