Conference in Yerevan: “Armenia-Turkey: paving ways for dialogue and reconciliation”

On May 18-19, 2017, as part of the Sub-grant Scheme of the ATNP2 Programme the Caucasus Resource Research Center - Armenia (CRRC) in partnership with the Istanbul-based independent think-tank Center for Public Policy and Democracy Studies (PODEM), will host in Yerevan an academic conference “Armenia-Turkey: paving ways for dialogue and reconciliation.”

The conference will aim at enhancing the scholarly communication between research communities of Armenia and Turkey around issues of Armenia-Turkey normalization with a focus on civil society, social, economic, political, cultural, and mass media aspects of the issue.

The conference will host around 40 participants interested in the field of Armenia-Turkey relations including experts, scholars, NGO and media representatives. To solicit applications from qualified participants, CRRC and the members of the ATNP Consortium disseminated an open call available here. During the conference the participants will present their findings/papers that will touch upon the different aspects of the Armenia-Turkey normalization. CRRC will arrange for an online publication of the conference papers and presentations.
