Startup Turkey Hosts Participants from Armenia

On February 27th and 28th the Armenian delegation representing Armenia’s information and communication technology industry (ICT) participated in the highly reputable Startup Turkey event held in Antalya. The delegation visited Turkey as part of the second stage of  the  “Exchange of Entrepreneur’s ” project implemented by  The Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) and Public Journalism Club (PJC)within the framework of the ‘‘Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process’’ programme funded by the European Union.

 

Startup Turkey brings together the leading entrepreneurs, investors, as well as representatives of technoparks, accelerators, ICT companies and educational institutions from the region.  This unique forum that hosted more than 700 participants allowed the Armenian delegation to interact with regional ICT leaders, investors and startups and establish important business connections.   

 

Startup Turkey hosts world class speakers- top Internet companies’ CEOs, founders of the most exciting startups and partners of VCs from all around the world.

 

Members of Armenian delegation had an opportunity to attend speeches by world renowned presenters and be present at the pitches by selected best startupers. The delegation also attended the closing and award giving ceremony. Throughout their time at Startup Turkey the Armenian delegates had networking opportunities with top technological experts, investors and entrepreneurs from Turkey and worldwide.
