Journalists for the Future NGO: Neighbors by Destiny

Neighbors by Destiny project aims to promote reconciliation between the peoples of Armenia and Turkey through supporting cooperation between journalists from the two countries. The grantee, Journalists for the Future NGO, will support a group of journalists from Armenia and Turkey to collect and share stories of people living in neighbouring Armenian, Turkish and Kurdish communities.

The grantee will ensure the participation of filmmakers from Armenia and Turkey to produce six joint documentaries, as well as will demonstrate films to wider audiences in Armenia and Turkey. Stories from several families from both countries will convey a new impetus to the discussions on the normalisation of relations between Armenia and Turkey and Armenians, Turks and Kurds.
