Social Entrepreneurship: Armenia-Turkey Exchange Project

Public Journalism Club (PJC), together with its partners in Turkey, TEPAV, and Mikado Consulting, is implementing an exchange project targeted at social entrepreneurs and enterprises in Armenia and Turkey.

A delegation consisting of 7 social entrepreneurs and 1 media representative from Armenia will conduct a 4-day visit to Turkey within the period of November 25 - December 8 of this year.

 

The visit aims at studying Turkey's growing experience in social entrepreneurship (SE), taking part in capacity building meetings, as well as establishing professional connections.

 

Armenia-Turkey Exchange Project includes, in particular:

  1. Study visits to Turkey's successful social enterprises,
  2. Visits to Ashoka Turkey Foundation and Impact Hub,
  3. Reception for establishing business contacts,
  4. Capacity building training with the support of Mikado Consulting. The main focus areas are social innovation, social impact, and sustainability. The training will be conducted by the experts of Mikado Consulting and Ashoka Turkey.

The project is implemented within the Small Grants Program of the US Embassy in Armenia. This initiative is a continuation of the “Exchange of Entrepreneurs” Project implemented by PJC and TEPAV within the framework of the EU-funded programme "Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process".
